ROI To Your Spirituality

November 17, 2011 by annon

In business, the term Return on Investment (ROI) is often invoked when trying to learn the value of a particular product or service. The goal of any investment is to have a tangible return. The larger and more substantial the return, the more justified is the investment.

I have learned about another type of ROI that might even have an even greater return.  Return on Ignoring.  Not paying attention to particular people and things can offer a tremendous and often unexpected return.

Pushing this idea a bit further, I have found that ignoring some things is an essential element to achieving peace of mind.

Psychologists say increased awareness often leads to increased stress. This makes sense. What I don’t know. because I don’t know about it, won’t be able to bother me.
